IN SPITE OF
Even if I don’t get any recognition
outside of myself,
I know for certain, inside of me,
that effort wise
and talent wise
I am award material quality,
and I deserve
a kiss from an angel on
my forehead,
an applause from a squirel
in the forest
and a shower of mist
on my face.
